Birds Hill Burdock (BHB) designs and makes adhesive hook-and-loop (“Velcro®”) wraps and companion accessories that help people keep everyday tech and personal items in a fixed, memorable place. The flagship product is a 3-D-printed AirPods® case wrapped in Sleek & Thin loop fabric that adheres to matching hook pads supplied with every purchase. The low-tech, tactile solution reduces cognitive load for users who frequently misplace small essentials and differentiates itself from electronic trackers and generic plastic cases by marrying protective hardware, premium fabric, and habit-forming placement cues.
All products are prototyped and manufactured in-house (desktop 3-D printers and a laser cutter) in short runs, allowing rapid iteration from live customer feedback gathered at Manitoba craft markets and pop-up vendor events. Longer-term, the company will outsource higher-volume production, expand the range to additional device categories (portable chargers, phone cases, water-bottles, laptop sleeves, etc.) and sell through e-commerce, wholesale gift retailers and simultaneous craft-show teams.
Products are primarily made for chronically disorganized adults with ADHD/OCD, busy young professionals, parents of young children, and university students in Winnipeg and other urban centres.
