What Products Qualify?

Qualifying manufactured goods are those that have undergone their last substantial transformation in the province of Manitoba. This does not necessarily mean these goods qualify for under "Made in Canada" labeling requirements as determined by the Competition Bureau of Canada.

What Companies Qualify?

The Made in Manitoba program is open to companies across all manufacturing sectors, as long as they meet a key requirement: the product’s last substantial transformation must occur in Manitoba.

For example, if you're a printing company, simply printing or designing on pre-manufactured goods does not qualify, as these activities alone do not constitute a substantial transformation. However, if your business manufactures the product itself and then applies print or design elements, your application may meet the eligibility criteria.
